At Press Time
Two to Watch
Antiquorum Auctioneers has joined forces with Tourneau, the New York
City retailer of more than 70 luxury watch brands, to introduce its watch
and jewelry auctions to the U.S.
After 24 years of selling exclusively from Geneva and Hong Kong, Antiquorum
will hold its first U.S. auction May 11 at Tourneau's flagship store, The
Time Machine, at 57th Street and Madison Avenue. The first auction will
be Contemporary Limited Edition and Special Order Watches & Modern Collector's
Watches, followed by the sale of Important Jewelry & Rare and Exotic
Gemstones there May 12.
"For the first time, both companies are now able to offer their
customers expanded opportunities and expert advice on all levels of the
market to buy, sell, trade in, consign and invest in their watch and jewelry
collections," the companies say.
They also plan to publish books and host 24-hour Internet auctions on
Antiquorum Online (www.antiquorum.com).
