Engagement and wedding rings represent unity not to mention
convenience when your customers buy them in matched pairs
Make it easy on your bridal jewelry customers. Many are fairly new to
jewelry stores. They've already seen a mind-boggling array of ring styles
in magazines, on TV and among friends. They're in the middle of planning
a wedding. Their heads are spinning with a million other details when they
appear on your doorstep to buy an engagement ring.
Win their appreciation by encouraging them to choose matching engagement
and wedding rings now so they don't have to return later when they'll
be even busier to buy the wedding rings.
Convenience isn't the only reason. "The presentation of a collection
gives the customer more to look at and gives the retailer more to talk about,"
says Nancy Klein, president of Antica Design Inc., New York City.
In addition, you have more room to create effective displays with bridal
sets because the rings are shown stacked rather than engagement rings in
one area and wedding rings in another.
