Daniels Watch Draws High Bids
A rare tourbillion pocket chronometer made by George Daniels in 1969 sold for $242,000 at a recent Antiquorum auction, the highest ever paid at auction for one of the master watchmaker's pieces. An American collector bought the 18k watch at Antiquorum's first auction in New York City, preceded by previews at Tourneau's TimeMachine superstore.
