Diamond Power Play
Summer programs will prepare retailers for fall sales
Diamond education will heat up this summer with a power-packed traveling
seminar program by the Diamond Promotion Service. "The Best of the
Best" project will team leading industry trainers and motivational
speakers in an educational outreach program designed to help retailers increase
their diamond sales.
Topics will include sales "attitude," customer motivation,
presentation, product knowledge, overcoming customer objections, working
with client books and integrating strategies for better-quality diamond
sales. The speakers are trainers and marketing experts Keith Harrell, Robert
Stevenson, Dave Richardson, Leonard Zell, Shane Decker, Dr. Chris Bramlett,
Sam Arnstein, Christine Anzel, Jack Levenson and DPS' own education director,
Diane Warga-Arias.
The three-hour seminars will be held June 8 in Las Vegas, NV, during
the JCK International Jewelry Show; July 20 in New York City during the
JA International Jewelry Show; July 25 in St. Louis, MO, during the IJO
Fall Seminar/Buying Show; Aug. 10 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, during Jewellery
World Expo; and Aug. 29-30 in Columbus, OH, during the Columbus Jewelry
Show.
