Custom-designed tiles and carpets are top of mind for retail designers
More retailers than ever are using custom-made flooring to set a mood,
send a message or reinforce a store theme. This tile clock, in the Brass
Mill Center in Waterbury, CT, is a prime example. The picture is meant to
symbolize a brass factory the gears represent factory machinery that
once stood where the mall is now located, says Crossville Porcelain Stone/USA,
Crossville, TN, which supplied the tiles.
