New Software Gives Designers Flexibility

Designed for all stages of the creative process

Caligari Corp., a provider of 3D design tools, introduces jewelSpace™1, a new version of the company’s trueSpace 3D modeling and animation program, customized for the jewelry design market.

The software is designed as an easy-to-use, flexible 3D interface that allows direct manipulation of designs in real time. You can output finished designs in a variety of formats for delivery to customers, rapid-prototyping and milling machines, or display on the Web. The output is photorealistic, to exact scale and specifications, and viewable from all angles.

Intended for all stages of the creative process, from conceptual design to output of physical prototype files, the software features NURBS-based modeling tools, realistic rendering, advanced surfacing features and libraries of jewelry design elements that can be incorporated into designs.

The software and support services cost $2,000. Support renewal is $1,200 annually. Three-day classroom training is available for an additional fee.
