Change of Hearts

It's all about love

Along with traditional designs, some hearts now hang a bit more askew. “This jewelry is sexy and is very ‘in’ with today’s clothing of short tops and hip-hugger pants,” says Peter Atman, president, Peter Atman Inc., New York City.

The most effective way to sell diamond heart jewelry, says Atman, is with the right presentation and enthusiasm. Hearts, whether in the jewelry design or the cut of a diamond, are a special representation of love. Showcase them with dramatic black or royal blue backgrounds. The white of the diamond will pop against these backdrop colors.
