Corum Gives $250,000 to
Twin Towers Fund
Using the proceeds from sales
of a limited-edition watch, fine Corum donates $250,000 to The Twin Towers Fund
Corum USA President Stacie Orloff recently presented a check for $250,000 to former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for the Twin Towers Fund. The money was generated from sales of a special-edition Corum Bubble watch featuring a U.S. flag on the dial. Corum owner and philanthropist Severin Wunderman designed the watch in 2001 and produced only 500. Corum said it would contribute $500 from the sale of each watch to the fund. The donation follows the complete sell-out of the limited-editions production.
Our distribution network of high-end retailers made this donation possible by really working with us and supporting the excellent sell-through of this watch, says Orloff.
The Twin Towers Fund, established by Giuliani, ensures that 100% of its donations go to the children of fire fighters, police and emergency volunteers who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks. To donate, see www.twintowersfund.org.
