Dials, bezels and cases show their brilliance


Introductions of diamond-set watches continue uninterrupted thanks to strong demand at the sales counter. Check out these examples.

The Hermès Tandem is now made with a bezel coated with 40-66 VVS diamonds, depending on the model size. The cases come in white or yellow gold, have mother-of-pearl dials and are attached to a gold bracelet or crocodile strap available in 13 colors.

Michele curves the case with this model from its Coquette Diamond collection. As with all models, straps of various colors and materials are available and are quickly changed without tools.

This slim automatic Villeret from Blancpain features bezel and markers adorned with diamonds. The seconds dial is a retrograde or “swing back” complication. The hand flips to zero every 30 seconds.
