August 2004 Diamonds/News Right-Hand Ring Style An array of designers and manufacturers produces fresh designs for 2004 Twenty winners were named in the Diamond Promotion Service and JCK Diamond Right Hand Ring Design Competition. The winners were chosen by a panel of industry leaders, retailers, press and designers. Contestants were asked to submit right-hand rings with natural diamonds, with at least one diamond 0.20 carat or larger, a north/south orientation, open space and a mix of round and fancy shapes or a graphic use of the same shape in different sizes. “The innovation and creativity put into these new rings will surely resonate with consumers as well as at all levels of the trade,” says DPS Director Lynn Diamond.
