Cord Classics

Creating fashionable favorites with classic components

For customers who want to wear diamonds as a fashion statement and are tired of chains, the cord is the next step. “It diversifies the whole look of the diamond. Cords add color and are easy to coordinate with any wardrobe,” says Joi Frankel of Designs by Joi, New York City.

Cords also enhance sales. “These pendants generally sell under $500 with 0.25-0.50 carat of diamonds. So selling a cord as an add-on is an easy way to increase your sales,” says Frankel.

Display these pendants on a neck form or in a pendant-only case.
