Frederick Goldman Styles Silver

New collection departs from the company's usual platinum and gold styles

After years of manufacturing platinum and gold bridal and fashion jewelry, Frederick Goldman makes a serious commitment to the silver market with the Lyric collection of carved sterling and diamond jewelry. Each piece contains elements of the Lyric pattern with diamonds that sit in the flowers of the pattern.

Lyric is a separate business unit for Frederick Goldman and is headed by its own designer, Amy Lopatin, who comes from David Yurman. She is joined by other key players to help ensure a successful launch.

The brand is aimed at women age 20 and older. The first collection features about 70 styles ranging from $79-$579 suggested retail. The brand is designed for comfort and easy wear. The supporting marketing program includes a flexible display system, packaging and tags. Other elements include gift cards, a consumer minicatalog, Duratrans and a Web site with a retailer locator.
