Black, gray and peacock pearls are shown to good effect in Elle, complementing and accenting the summer's hot hue, pastel blue.

The darker pearls ground these ephemeral blues. It's a smart alternative to the classic white strands – which could appear too precious with such a light color – and a good selling point when dealing with a fashion-forward clientele. These darker pearls should have fashion staying power as well – they'll create a dramatic tonal look when paired with this fall's wave of gray apparel.
