Jewelry editors Penny Proddow and Marion Fasel chose amethyst jewelry for their Style File Jewel Box feature in the May issue of In Style. "They're a great complement to spring's pastel palette," said the authors, referring to the clothing industry's return to feminine colors such as pink. Featured were rugged, uncut amethysts in a statement-making necklace, as well as dainty styles by a variety of designers.
