"It's back." Those simple words, pronounced by Elle in its May issue, could mean renewed interest in the legendary yellow metal among chic customers. After dropping off the face of the earth in magazines for the past couple of years, yellow gold has found favor with the stylish again. Many consumers never lost interest, as jewelers will attest, but every bit of publicity helps. Delicate and textured looks, accented with delicate gemstones, were the picks for Elle's editors.
