Most online stores have a search engine that allows users to search through products by keywords or phrases. However, few sites offer detailed search options like those available at Timex.com. For customers trying to find the perfect Timex watch to fit all their needs, Timex.com's Watch Finder is the way to go. After clicking on the link from the site's main page, customers can choose what type of watch they're looking for: classics, sports, outdoors, tech or youth. The next screen allows customers to select the criteria for their watch search. For example, customers looking for sports watches can specify gender target, price, display, case size, strap, readability, date window, Indiglo, water resistance, alarm, dual time zones and 24-hour time. Each search brings back accurate results and displays the results with small images and prices.

Great search functionality isn't all Timex.com has to offer. The site uses simple and consistent navigation that loads quickly and is easy to follow. Each page has top navigation with quick links to order status and shopping cart, a keyword search box, a link to the Watch Finder and a drop down menu with links to most of the site sections. Each page also has a "site tip," which changes depending on what section customers are in. The site's main page includes the navigation along with a variety of featured products and links to the new i-control line and the new commercials directed by Tim Burton.

Other noteworthy parts of the site include the online bargains section, with deals ranging from $15 to $30, and the 3D and zoom options on the individual product pages. Each product page contains a large image of the item, product description, price, link to the watch instructions and some have the option to rotate the watch in a 3D movie or zoom in on the image. The extra features require that users' browsers have the QuickTime plug-in. Overall, customers visiting Timex.com can find almost anything they're looking for. From watch instructions to store locations to information about Data Link watches, the Pager Watch and the i-control watches, Timex.com has it all.
