Kaiser Time to Distribute Christian Dior Watches

Kaiser Time, distributor of Delance women's watches in the U.S., is the new distributor of Christian Dior timepieces here.

Paris-based Benedom SA, which manufacturers and distributes the Swiss-made watches for Christian Dior, named Steven Kaiser president and CEO of the newly-formed Benedom Inc. U.S., the new name for Kaiser Time in about six months. Judy Price, currently Kaiser Time's vice president of marketing, is Benedom's new vice president of marketing and customer relations.

Kaiser's firm will relaunch the brand in the U.S. this spring to select jewelers after Dior's two-year hiatus from the U.S. watch market. (Saks carried a portion of the line this past holiday season.) Benedom redesigned the Swiss-made watch line, making it a luxury designer women's and men's line with Dior designer John Galliano's input. Prices range at retail from $700 to $7,000. Kaiser plans a full marketing program and consumer ads for this spring. Christian Dior and Benedom SA are affiliated with luxury giant Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) in Paris, France.
