Gucci and Hirsch Speidel Name CEOs
Gucci Timepieces USA and Hirsch Speidel each recently named new CEOs as both companies prepare spring product and service introductions for U.S. retailers.
Gary Ervick is the new president and CEO of Hirsch Speidel, Providence, RI, replacing William Jahnke, who moved on to a position with former Speidel parent firm Textron. Ervick formerly was president of Samsonite Distributing Co. and president of American Tourister, and spent 19 years with Procter & Gamble.
Robert Artlet is the new managing director of Gucci Timepieces USA. His position is new for the firm as it prepares to move from California to New York offices, where Artlet is based. He was formerly director of marketing at Mikimoto (America) Co. and Tiffany & Co.'s director of trade sales for North America and South America. Artlet is in charge of all Gucci Timepieces sales and finances.
