Rapaport Joins Fine Jewelry in Tucson

Martin Rapaport of Rapaport Diamond Corp., New York City, is organizing a section of diamond dealers to exhibit in The Fine Jewelry Show in Tucson, a new trade show for finished jewelry sponsored by Professional Jeweler. The show will be held Feb. 3-6, 2000, at the Doubletree Hotel in Tucson, AZ, during the city's annual week of colored gemstone shows.

The "Diamonds at the Doubletree" section will include diamantaires from the Antwerp, Israeli and New York City diamond communities selling primarily loose diamonds. The section will complement the other products at The Fine Jewelry Show in Tucson, the first Tucson-based show to focus on finished jewelry exclusively, according to Peggy Willett, associate publisher of Professional Jeweler and one of the show's chief planners.

"The addition of The Fine Jewelry Show in Tucson and Rapaport's Diamonds at the Doubletree section expands and broadens the appeal of the show," says Willett. "Buyers will be able to do more business than at any other spring show." For more information about the show, call (888) 557-0727.
