Karo Zeytouna, owner of Sunrise Jewelers in Northridge, CA, was shot and killed yesterday during a robbery. The 44-year-old was three weeks from closing his business, relatives told the Associated Press.
Los Angeles police took three men into custody for questioning and later arrested one of the men, Gaik Papazyan, for investigation of murder. The other two continued to be held for questioning at press time.
Zeytouna's brother-in-law told AP the deceased man was planning to close his store on Dec. 31 due to lack of business.
