Adiamondisforever.com, in cooperation with the Diamond Promotion Service, invites diamond jewelry manufacturers to participate in a new "Design Gallery" program on its Web site. The program will help manufacturers further brand themselves in the online consumer marketplace and expose them to a large online consumer audience. The Design Gallery will feature the world's largest collection of branded diamond jewelry designs on the Internet, with nearly 1,200 designs from about 30 manufacturers.
The Design Gallery is set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2001 and will provide consumers with an online viewing experience similar to the traditional retail experience. Consumers will be able to rotate, shift and zoom in on a variety of diamond jewelry products and access diamond education information as well. When a consumer chooses a diamond jewelry piece on the site, he or she will have the option to click through to the manufacturer's site to find out more about the piece and where to buy it.
"The Diamond Promotion Service and J. Walter Thompson are committed to making the Design Gallery the most elegant and technologically advanced diamond jewelry experience on the Web," says Lynn Diamond, executive director of the Diamond Promotion Service. "Our goal is to create a Design Gallery that will be far superior, both visually and experientially, to any other jewelry site online."
Applications for participation in the Design Gallery were mailed to manufacturers Monday and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. May 16 to 5 p.m. May 18. Manufacturers interested in learning more can attend an open-house breakfast at J. Walter Thompson on May 1. For more information, contact the Diamond Promotion Service.
