Professional Jeweler Show Has New Dates
Because of the recent terrorist attacks in the United States, The Professional Jeweler Show has been rescheduled to Oct. 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show will be in Hall N4, the same area in the Las Vegas Convention Center as originally planned. Preregistration for buyers has been extended to Sept. 28.
James Reed, director of shows for Professional Jeweler, says the new dates will allow those planning to attend time to regroup and prepare for the event. In addition, it will allow time for airports, shippers, security firms and other businesses to get up to speed in order to provide the high level of service needed by all parties involved.
"This tragedy has brought families and friends closer together. Gift-giving will have special significance this holiday season as Americans seek ways to express their emotional attachment to loved ones," Reed says.
"The show still offers the best opportunity to complete your inventory needs at this time," Reed says. "Don't let the terrorists win. Show them that business will go on despite their cowardly tactics."
