Curt Parker Encourages Jewelers to Copy His Design to Raise Funds

Curt Parker of Curt Parker Jewelry, St. Louis, MO, is urging jewelers to use his "America's Pendant" design (see "Patriotic Jewelry Sales Are Soaring" for more information) to make and sell the pendants to their customers and help in the national relief effort for victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

His pendant, which comes in 14k yellow or white gold with natural gems (ruby, diamond and sapphire) or with synthetic ruby, cubic zirconia and synthetic sapphire, is available in two styles. Both styles are set with 4mm stones. The natural gem versions retail for $1,500, and the synthetic and cubic zirconia versions sell for $125. He is making other sizes available on special request, and earrings will be available soon.

The jewelry findings needed to make these designs are: 1816 strip setting, 21612 earring setting and 184 pendant bail. The findings are from Stuller Settings, Lafayette, LA; (800) 877-7777, www.stuller.com. The pendants should take about 15 minutes to manufacture, Parker estimates.

Parker will donate 100% of his profit to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. For more information or to see the pendant, go to www.curtparker.com/americas%20pendant.htm.
