Seiko Names New U.S. V.P.

Seiko Corp. of America appointed Les Perry its new executive vice president, sales & marketing. He replaces former vice president and COO Rick Vogler, who left the company for personal reasons, according to Seiko.

For the last four years, Perry has served as general manager of Movado's ESQ brand. With 14 years in the watch industry, he has spent the last nine years at Movado.

"We are so pleased that Les is joining our organization," said Ron Luino, executive vice president & CFO for Seiko Corp. of America. "With his strong leadership skills, wealth of experience and solid track record in the watch and retail industries, Les will be a valuable addition to our team."

Seiko Corp. of America , Mahwah, N.J., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Seiko Watch Corp., Tokyo.
