DCIT Introduces New Version of Software

DCIT Corp. unveiled the latest version of its BusinessMind™ for Jewelers software suite at the JA Jewelry Show, July 28 - 31, in New York City. Its booth is No. 2887. This latest release builds upon the software tool with improved performance and new features, says the company. The new version 2.8 software is available as separate BMJ products for jewelry retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers. Users of any BusinessMind 2002 and later software system with an active support and upgrades subscription can download the latest software from www.dcit.com for free starting Aug. 1.

"BusinessMind for Jewelers Version 2.8 is an important upgrade featuring dozens of improvements in areas such as performance, appearance, and usability," says Raffi Minassian, DCIT CEO. "This release also marks some important milestones in our development process as it paves the way for the features we have planned for release in the remainder of this year and the version 3 timeframe which we expect to begin in early 2003."

DCIT is also offering incentives and give-aways at the show to buyers who purchase the standard, pro, or enterprise edition of BusinessMind for Jewelers. Purchasers who buy at the show are eligible to receive for free either a Canon S200 digital camera, a Sharp Zaurus PDA, a thermal tag printer or a bar code scanner, available while supplies last.

With a component-based software architecture, SQL technology, cross-platform compatibility with Unix and a graphical Windows-style interface, BusinessMind for Jewelers can be deployed in large multi-location network environments or simple single station systems.
