VH1/Vogue Fashion Award Winners Get Diamonds
Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eve and Karolina Kurkova each received a fancy-shaped diamond necklace in the shape best suited to them at the VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards, held Oct. 15 in New York City.
Female winners received the $10,000, 1-ct. diamonds from luxury jeweler Graff. VH1/Vogue selected four emerging diamond shapes to represent each woman's style and personality. The selected shapes included the heart, pear, marquise and oval, each set on a delicate platinum chain.
The winners and their fancy-shaped diamond counterparts include:
Singer/Actress Jennifer Lopez won the "Most Influential Artist" category and received a heart-shaped diamond, as a symbol of her "romantic and sexy" personality, said the sponsors.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow won the "Red Carpet Style" category and received a pear-shaped diamond as a symbol of her sophistication.
Recording artist Eve won the "Breakthrough Style" category and received a marquise diamond as a symbol of her "fierce, independent" trendsetting beauty.
Karolina Kurkova won the "Model of the Year" category and received an oval-shaped diamond as a symbol of her "cool and classic look."
