AJDC Selects The American Salon

The board of directors of the American Jewelry Design Council voted unanimously to premier the 2003-4 AJDC Design Project piece, "Fold," at The American Salon show, May 28 to June 1, in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. AJDC also reserved space for 39 members to exhibit.

AJDC, a non-profit educational organization promoting original jewelry designs as art, chose The American Salon after a group of its board members visited the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the newest meeting facility in Las Vegas.

"We are extremely pleased AJDC selected The American Salon as its place to show in Las Vegas," says Andrew Kohler, managing director of The American Salon. "It's wonderful to have such an important group of industry leaders recognize the benefits of showing at an elegant, comfortable show with a limited number of exhibitors at an exciting new facility."

The American Salon's exhibitors include domestic and international suppliers in all categories and price ranges, says the management of the show. Its purpose is to enable exhibitors and retailers to consolidate their show efforts in one venue to facilitate the efficient use of retailers' time, according to a press release.
