Corum Gives $250,000 to Twin Towers Fund

Using the proceeds from sales of a limited edition watch, fine watch manufacturer Corum donated $250,000 to The Twin Towers Fund.

Corum USA President Stacie Orloff presented the check to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani during a ceremony Nov. 15. The funds were generated from sales of a special-edition Corum Bubble watch which featured a U.S. flag design on the dial.

Corum owner and philanthropist Severin Wunderman designed the watch last fall and produced only 500. Corum said it would contribute $500 from the sale of each watch to the fund. The donation follows the complete sell-out of the limited edition's production.

"Our distribution network of high-end retailers made this donation possible by really working with us and supporting the excellent sell-through of this watch," says Orloff.

The Twin Towers Fund, established by Giuliani, ensures that 100% of its donations go to the children of fire fighters, police and emergency volunteers who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks. To learn more and donate, go to twintowersfund.org.
