JCK Show Not Affected by SARS

SARS will not affect anyone's attendance at The JCK Show-Las Vegas, according to show organizers, based on advice from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and U.S. federal agencies. Exhibitors and attendees from SARS-affected areas will participate in the show. JCK show officials say plans are in place for additional precautions if necessary.

Earlier this month, SARS fears prompted Switzerland to ban exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam from Basel World and Italian show OroArezzo to bar attendee delegations from the same countries.

"The security and safety of all participants is our focus," says Dave Bonaparte, vice president of The JCK Shows. "We are heeding the advice and recommendations of the appropriate agencies in order to be prepared to follow any recommended measures. Furthermore, we will keep all of our constituents informed should we receive additional important precautionary information."
