Aurafin/OroAmerica Is Jewelry.com's Exclusive Gold Vendor

Aurafin/OroAmerica, the largest karat-gold jewelry manufacturer in the U.S., signed on as Jewelry.com's exclusive vendor of karat-gold jewelry. Aurafin/OroAmerica joins gemstone jewelry manufacturer Andin International and Leo Schachter, a Diamond Trading Co. sightholder and diamond manufacturer. These three manufacturers offer a wide range of fine jewelry on Jewelry.com. The manufacturers are joined on the site by four participating retailers, Zales, Macy's, J.C. Penney and Sears.

Jewelry.com says it draws an average 2 million visitors each month and consistently ranks as the No. 1 fine jewelry site on the Web by Neilsen/NetRatings and ComScore. The site is a gateway that educates consumers and facilitates jewelry purchases from participating retailers. Consumers can learn about jewelry, browse for jewelry, and once they find an item they want, learn where they can buy it. The site also tracks jewelry sales in one location, and provides exclusive coupons and special offers for members. "This strategic alliance with Aurafin/OroAmerica allows our site to reach consumers with the broadest array of styles and selections in every category," says Kristian Chronister, Jewelry.com's vice president of marketing.

"With the industry-leading manufacturers and retailers now participating at Jewelry.com, we offer the consumer a great selection of jewelry backed by names she trusts," says Andin International Chairman Ofer Azrielant. "Wešre pleased and excited to represent gold jewelry on Jewelry.com," says Michael Gusky, chairman of Aurafin/OroAmerica. "We look forward to working in concert with Jewelry.com to provide the best gold jewelry to consumers and help our retail partners drive business."
