JeanRichard Official Timer for American Le Mans
JeanRichard watches has joined the American Le Mans Series in a new sponsorship and awards program. The Swiss-based watch company, a division of the Sowind Group that also includes Girard-Perregaux, is now the official watch and timing sponsor of the American Le Mans Series, which opens March 17 in Braselton, GA. The American Le Mans Series is a series of North American sports car races based on the famous endurance race, 24 Hours of Le Mans.
JeanRichard will present watches valued at $3,950 to the winning drivers in all four classes of the American Le Mans Series. In addition, watches will be presented to the winning drivers and team owners at other Series races and during an awards banquet at the season's end. JeanRichard will also be a sponsor of the American Le Mans Series Radio Web, and there will be a JeanRichard logo clock at the start/finish line for all ALMS races to track the elapsed time during the event.
"We are very excited to begin a longterm partnership with the American Le Mans Series," said Ronald Jackson, president of JeanRichard Watches North America. "I am confident that the passions and expertise we bring to fine Swiss watchmaking will be appreciated by the winning drivers and fans alike."
