Lev Leviev, internationally known diamantaire, will be a guest speaker on Oct. 14 at the Couture Diamond Leadership Conference. The conference is taking place in New York City on Oct. 13 and 14, following the Gemological Institute of America's League of Honor dinner on Oct. 12.

"He will be a great draw." The topic of his talk will be announced at a later date.

Other speakers at the conference include Donald Trump, Forbes president and CEO Steve Forbes and Maurice Tempelsman, chairman of the board of Lazare Kaplan International.

The conference also announced four new sponsors: Backes & Strauss, Christopher Designs, G.E. Retail Sales Finance and M. Fabrikant & Sons. Other sponsors announced earlier include Hearts On Fire, A. Jaffe, Daniel K., Diamond Promotion Service, Diaco, GIA, Hasenfeld-Stein, Julius Klein, Lazare Kaplan International, Philippe Diamond and Werdiger.
