Iridesse Will Sell Designers' Jewels
Tiffany & Co.'s new pearl-only chain, Iridesse, plans to collaborate with five leading jewelry designers, including Erica Courtney, Chrissie Douglas of Coleman Douglas Pearls, Anthony-Nak, Christian Tse and Gabrielle Sanchez. The designers will partner with and create cultured pearl jewelry designed exclusively for Iridesse.
Design is at the core of Iridesse's intended message to consumers, says the company. The designers were chosen because of their signature styles and distinguished designs. Their work will complement Iridesse's own collections.
"We're honored to be partnering with these talented and established designers," says Bob Cepek, president of Iridesse. "We are confident that the designs of each of these talents will be a fantastic addition to the Iridesse collection and further enhance the opportunity for every woman to enjoy cultured pearl jewelry for every occasion."
The company says that in a jewelry marketplace where pearls are often underrepresented and poorly presented, Iridesse will be a retail jeweler focused exclusively on celebrating the natural beauty of cultured pearls and on thoroughly educating customers about pearl quality.
Iridesse will open two stores in this fall, at Tyson's Corner in McLean, VA and The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, NJ.
