Raff Is Whitehall CEO
Beryl Raff was named CEO of Whitehall Jewellers and will also be on the board of directors.
Raff was senior vice president and general merchandise manager of fine jewelry for J.C. Penney Co. since 2001. Prior to that, Raff was with Zale Corp. for six years, as CEO from September 1999-February 2001 and as chairman from September 2000-February 2001. Before joining Zale in 1994, Raff worked for Macy's Department Stores, where she held executive jobs with responsibility for Macy's jewelry business.
Lucinda Baier, who has served as CEO since the death of Hugh Patinkin earlier this year, will continue as president and COO of Whitehall.
