DDC Hosts Diamond Expo
The New York Diamond Dealers Club will host Diamond Expo 2005, featuring a selection of loose diamonds and colored stones on the DDC's 25,000-sq.-ft. trading floor at 580 Fifth Avenue and 47th Street, Sept.18-19, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sponsored by the International Gemological Institute, the DDC Diamond Expo will also provide a broad range of seminars designed to help retailers increase profits and diamond sales. The keynote speaker for Diamond Expo 2005 will be Martin Rapaport, who will discuss "The Future of Diamonds and the Independent Retailer," at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 18. The first Diamond Expo convened by DDC is a two-day event that will include a host of special seminars specifically developed to provide retailers with information and guidance on how to increase diamond sales and profits, as well as how to stay ahead of the competition.
