Mike Mallowe New Editor of Professional Jeweler

Mike Mallowe is the new editor in chief of Professional Jeweler, replacing Peggy Jo Donahue, who left for a position with Jewelers of America.

Mallowe brings extensive editorial experience to the publication, along with skills in marketing and communications. He is also a long-time educator and consultant in the field of communications.

Mallowe was the founding editor of Main Line Today, a regional magazine serving the suburbs of Philadelphia, and has also won awards while an investigative reporter with Philadelphia, from the Society of Professional Journalists, National Press Club and Women in Communications. Mallowe has also been a senior editor at Business Philadelphia as well as a correspondent for Life, Rolling Stone, The New York Times Sunday Magazine and Reader's Digest.

Mallowe has taught writing and communications at Penn State University and Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA, and also developed the Masters Program in English and Publishing at Rosemont College, PA.
