Tiffany to Open Second Manhattan Location

Tiffany & Co. has leased a 7,600-square-foot retail location on Wall Street in New York City's downtown financial district and plans to open its second Manhattan location there in fall 2007, according to Women's Wear Daily.

The retailer will keep its famous flagship location on Fifth Avenue. At the Wall Street location, the jeweler will occupy the ground floor and mezzanine of a 25-story building, which was built in 1906 to house J.P. Morgan and is just around the corner from the New York Stock Exchange.

Luxury retailer Hermes also plans to open a store in the neighborhood, just across the street from the NSYE, next year.
