Bulova Corp. Renews Licensing Agreement with Eyewear by R.O.I.
Bulova Corporation has announced a renewal of its eyewear licensing contract with Eyewear by R.O.I. The agreement, running through 2008, extends a contract originally signed by the two companies in 1995.
Under the renewed licensing agreement, Eyewear by R.O.I. will continue designing, manufacturing, and distributing the popular frame collections marketed under the names Bulova, Bulova Exclusively Wood, Bulova Fine Leather, Bulova Sunwear, Bulova Twist Titanium, Bulova Vintage, Caravelle by Bulova, and Wittnauer.
Highlighting the 11-year relationship between the two companies, Bulova recently selected Eyewear by R.O.I. as the 2006 recipient of its Partner of the Year award.
Founded in 1875, Bulova remains one of the worldıs most recognized brands, reaching a wide range of consumers with its Bulova, Accutron, Wittnauer, and Caravelle watches, as well as its Bulova Clocks. With the launch of the Bulova Grandfather Clock division in 2003, Bulova became the only company to offer every type of standard consumer timepiece, from watches to the largest clocks for the home. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Eyewear by R.O.I. has been producing and marketing high-quality designer and branded optical products since 1986.
